Saree

Saree (Sari), an Indian wear makes a woman look graceful, stylish, elegant and sensuous. Draping a sari is an Art,  clumsily draped Saree (sari) brings down the rich look of the saree and makes you look very shabby. Not to forget , the a well designed Saree Blouse gives a sensuous getup.
Some basic tips on how to buy and drape a Saree.
Buying Sarees :- Women who are on heavier side should buy sarees (saris) in Georgette, Chiffon or Chignon. Heavy Mysore Silk sarees (saris) which look beautiful and one tends to look slimmer.

Shorter women should buy sarees with small borders or no borders. They should definitely avoid big borders as broad  borders make one look short.

Thin women should buy Organza, Cotton, Tissue and Tussar Sarees which  gives a fuller effect.

Sarees with big prints should be avoided , as it gives a gaudy and a huge look. Delicate print on a Saree, gives a delicate look.
A flared petticoat  should be avoided , a 6 piece petticoat is the best option, it gives a slimmer look
Draping a Saree :- Pining up a Saree in office is more manageable while working  and it also gives a smart look.

For  any  function,  pinup the tip of the saree pallu  and let the rest fall over your arm especially if the sarees has  pretty pallu, this gives a very trendy and  elegant look. The Saree should be pinned up just behind the shoulder  to keep the saree intact where the pin is not visible.

Cotton, Tissue or any starched Sarees should be ironed properly. At the time of draping the pleats ,you should run your fingers between the pleats pressing it down to keep the pleats intact , you can use a saree clip to hold the pleats together.

Now here's the best part. You don't need to match your clothes and accessories with these coloured shoes. Just wear them, whatever the colour of your outfit. Rest assured, your footwear will definitely be a hit. According to Malini, it's all about making a personal style statement.
Green is another 'on-the-run' colour, while purple, though in vogue, has not really caught on. And if you thought coloured shoes was completely a girlie thing, you're wrong. Guys, too, are happily sporting footwear in colours ranging from deep red to green and aqua blue.

Essential Basic Make Up Items In Your Purse

Every Woman loves to look beautiful , specially when you have to attend a function at a very short notice.

Here's a list of your Basic Make up Kit......

1. A small mirror: Whether it's for applying your eyeliner, lipstick or kajal, a small mirror is the thing that you can't do without. And most of us often face situations where you are left hunting for a mirror.

2. Foundation: Without it you can never get your make up right. So you need to get the one that suits your skin colour. Don't go for a foundation that's 10 shades lighter than your skin tone, it'll make you appear pale and very non-appealing.

3. Moisturiser: If you are out in the sun all day long and your friends suddenly ask you to join them for a drink, your skin is bound to look dry. So make sure that you have some foundation handy, that you can dab on your face before you meet your friends.

4. Concealer: A concealer is necessary for hiding dark circles under the eyes, as well as blemishes. They work great in making you look fresh, even if you’ve had a long day. For liquid and cream concealers, remember to gently pat them as you apply instead of spreading them right away. This will ensure longer and more effective wear.

5. Blush or Bronzer :-For pale women, bronzer is the most effective way to get rid of the pale skin quickly. It instantly lends a glow to the whole face, making you look fresh and radiant. Use a large brush and light pressure when applying bronzer to the face.

6. A lip liner / Lipstick : A lip liner can make a lot of difference to your appearance. It makes your make-up seem more polished and complete. It defines your lips and gives it a definite shape. Your favourite shade of lipstick or lipgloss: Lipgloss is perfect to add little shine to your lips. It immediately sets the note for a night out.

7. An eyeshadow pallet with a brush: Preferably your eyeshadow pallet should have two or more than two colours. It gives you an option to blend colours. Also if there's a lighter shade and a darker one, you can opt for the colour as per the time of the day.

8. Eyeliner is the easiest and most affordable way to highlight your eyes. A matte black liner is the standard in making your eyes pop out, but don’t be afraid to try softer yet effective shades such as olive green, gray, and dark blue. Apply on the outer part of the eye, and gently blend with a smudging brush, which also softens the effect.

9. Mascara: Like you can do without a lipstick, but not without a lipgloss, similarly you can do without an eyeliner, but not without a mascara. Mascara is one of the things you should never leave your home without.
If your makeup bag has these essentials, you’re sure to look great.
